Die heutige Meldung auf der offiziellen Seite zur BlizzCon 2007 hat wohl viele Herzen der diesjährigen Messebesucher höher Schlagen lassen. Blizzard wird auf dem Event mehrere Demostände aufstellen, an welchen es den Besuchern ermöglicht werden soll StarCraft 2 selbst anzutesten.

"Visitors to BlizzCon 2007 will be treated to the first-ever public hands-on with StarCraft II. Demo stations will be set up at the convention, and attendees can sample the new units and gameplay elements for themselves in multiplayer battles. We’re excited to offer this exclusive opportunity to our players, and look forward to seeing you at BlizzCon."

Blizzard sais:

Unklar ist jedoch ob es sich dabei um die aktuelle - laut offiziellen Aussagen erst in der frühen Alphaphase befindlichen - Spielversion handelt oder vielmehr um eine extra für die die Messe erstellte (zensierte) Version. Wie dem auch sei... Nicht ohne Neid gratulieren wir jedem, der das Glück hatte eines der gut $100 teuren Tickets zum Event ergattern zu können!
